Lafferty is proud to be sponsoring the CIOB’s Student Challenge this year which takes place in Thomond Park in Limerick on the 22nd of November. The CIOB are an influential body for leadership and construction management, therefore this is close to our heart and in the field in which we thrive as a business. 

In addition, we think it is necessary to encourage the future generation of leaders, project managers and talents within construction to follow their passions. Therefore, sponsoring this year’s student challenge made perfect sense. 

The colleges include Munster Technological University, Cork, Atlantic Technical University, Sligo, Atlantic Technical University, Galway, Atlantic Technical University, Donegal and South-eastern Technological University, Waterford.

Lafferty’s Derek Cassidy is Chairman of the Rep. of Ireland CIOB and will be delivering the opening and closing speeches during the event. Derek will also be setting the challenge this year and will provide the associated Judge Marking Scheme on the night.
