Position Summary:

Position Summary: The successful candidate will interact with senior level clients and the director of Life Sciences in Lafferty. The role requires excellent technical ability, problem-solving, executive report writing and exemplary client relationship skills.

Salary Range: €​

Leadership: Provide Leadership in motivating and inspiring individuals and organizations to work constructively towards attainment of the client’s business objectives.
Facilitating Stakeholder engagement: Working with Key Stakeholders to achieve desired project outcomes and benefits.
Communicate: Ensure highly effective communications are established early on the project and are supportive in achieving positive project outcomes.
Structure the Project: Establish both ‘what’ the project will accomplish and ‘how’ it will do so.
Manage Project Progress: Ensure that the project is moving toward the accomplishment of its objectives and the attainment of its expected benefits in a predictable and measured way.
Manage The Project
Organisation: Establish and foster effective team culture and behaviours. Address poor behaviours that prohibit effective project performance by the team.
Direct the Management of Contracts: Obtain value from products and services acquired from external sources.
Engage in Collaborative Alliances: Forge alliances with other organizations internal and external to facilitate project success.

Project Management Process

Experience and Qualifications and Candidate Profile

Candidates are expected to have 10 years+ of project leadership experience in the biologics industry with increasing scale and complexity. The preference is for most of that experience to have been gained in biologics drug substance and/or drug product manufacturing in commercial and/or clinical supply. Experience in Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products projects would be an advantage. Lafferty is particularly interested in candidates who have both client-side and consulting experience that has provided them with a balanced understanding of what it takes to achieve project success. As our consulting services are based on end-to-end project management it would be essential for the candidate to have Design, Construction, CQV, Tech transfer, and Operational Readiness experience gained from involvement in each of these project phases.

The role will report to the Director of Life Sciences in Lafferty and the salary and benefits will reflect the importance of this position.

Travel: International travel may be required according to the needs of the project.

Qualifications

An Engineering / Science Degree (Bio/Chemical desirable) or equivalent.
An MBA or Master’s degree would be an advantage.
Chartered status or a PMP qualification would be an advantage.
