Luffing Crane – 60 Dawson Street Dublin
For only the fourth time in Dublin, a luffing crane on core has been erected over 60 Dawson Street.
Why did we choose to use a luffing crane?
This luffing crane is used where space is limited, there are high-rise buildings or structures in close proximity or heavy loads need to be lifted to high elevations. It is also used in areas with high winds or other environmental factors that could impact the stability of the crane.
Due to the complex logistics and tight working space, placing a luffing crane on the roof (on top of 6th floor core not to ground) was the ideal solution.
