Lafferty was appointed by Kennedy Wilson for both Phase 1 & Phase 2 of Stillorgan Village redevelopment, the first ever shopping centre in Ireland.
The client brief was to enhance the existing ageing retail centre asset. We were able to split the project into phases and proceed with a two storey, 1,500m² extension to the Tesco unit with associated hard and soft landscaping. Phase Two followed a successfully managed planning strategy which consisted of further additional new build retail spaces across numerous areas of the existing village centre, a new two storey rainscreen façade to all existing buildings on campus, enhanced internal finishes to the public areas and new hard and soft landscaping throughout. All delivered while maintining business operations to tenants at all times.
