Lafferty were enrolled to complete the refurbishment of the Arts Building which was a protected structure from the 1970’s. The brief was to create an open space, informal learning spaces and communal areas.
This project was conducted on a live campus in the existing Arts Building in Trinity College under a restricted timeline with Phase 1 carried out in Summer 2018 and Phase 2 carried in Summer 2019. Strict protocol for works within live areas was developed and implemented to avoid disruption of the operation of the college.
